My one real complaint with the novel was the introduction of lucid dreaming. It was a good portrayal of someone just discovering their sexual identity, I thought. Lissa could have realized that she, and Kate, are doing the same thing as Beth, on a larger scale- that they are trying to avoid their sexuality and the truth as Beth is avoiding being herself to fit in with Society, as Beth tries to fit in with the populars.
Thank you, gay dreamland book. There is a scene Ariel tells Lissa about I would have loved to see actually.
